Filtromix has introduced fm filtrodryer. It is multi-purpose equipment in which a number of unit operations can be performed. It is usable to handle operations such as reaction, filtration, and drying in single equipment. As well, recovery of solvents is also possible. The use of this equipment reduces the material losses due to handling between unit operations, contamination of the product is eliminated, manpower is reduced and a substantial amount of power saving. The reaction, filtration and drying takes place by tilting the equipment at different positions using the system. The agitator shaft is hollow inside which hot or cold fluid can be circulated so that more effective heat treatment transfer area is available. The agitator shaft can be retracted up/down with the hydraulic system. Applications include dyes and pigments, antioxidants, etp, chemicals, activated carbon, food products, pharmaceuticals, etc.
